Maura is interesting , fun and thoroughly engaging. We did a last minute tour with her in Perugia and got infinitely more than we would have on our own. Her pace and level of knowledge was perfect. If Maura is available to be your guide, BOOK HER! I have been a guide for Rick Steves for 25 years so I've worked with scores of local guides across Europe, and Maura is one of the very best. She conveys her vast knowledge in a way that is easy to understand, and helps you see the connections in history and with other locations you've visited. We had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon in Assisi with Maura Baldoni, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.

Maura made our time in Perugia and Assisi incredible!  Her knowledge, anecdotes and lovely manner made the trip special.  She took wonderful care with some modifications to increase our comfort and her generous spirit was such fun to add to our days. We had the pleasure of Maura’s company over two days while touring Orvieto and Assisi. She was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable as she explained the awesome architecture and amazing artworks we encountered. She knew exactly where to go and what to see and it made visiting these sites so worthwhile, as without a guide one can find themselves waiting in long lines just to rush through the exhibits without learning much.
